Nikhil Sharma is the author of India’s Football Dream. Nikhil also is the Founder CEO of zlait Sports Management, a New Delhi based sports management company. Nikhil has previously been Director of I-League club Shillong Lajong FC and was also an inception team member of Guwahati franchise of Indian Super League.

Nikhil is passionate about sports, persistent about the sustainability & development of sports in an Indian context with a global approach.

Sports, Business & Branding are 3 words that excite him most. He studied at Pune’s Vidya Bhavan & Loyola Junior College. Educated to be an Engineer with a degree from BVCOE, Pune, trained to be a marketeer at MICA, Ahmedabad & certified to be a Football Coach having done various courses. He loves ‘Brands in Sports’ and always is on a lookout to understand more and more about the Professional Athlete. Nikhil’s company represents some of the most talented young Indian Football players.

He has played competitive Football & Table Tennis, amongst a host of other sports through school & college.

He has worked for over 11 years through various industry verticals like it IT, FMCG, Consulting, Media & Retail before coming home to Sports. He has been a go to man at most organisations, where he has loved turning things around. For the good that is! Failed many a times too, which he deems has been a bigger and better experience than being successful. Huge believer in being the dumbest guy in the team room, his effort is always to put together the most skilled & intelligent teams together. Be it on the Football pitch or the front office.
