About the Author

Dipetendra Raychaudhuri is an independent thinker who views contemporary politics through an unconventional lens. Blending sharp analysis with journalistic clarity, he examines issues from both secularist and Hindutvavadi perspectives—objective, balanced, and deeply informed. Born in 1964, Raychaudhuri has an MA in Sociology from the University of Calcutta. He began his career with Anandabazar Patrika in 1987 and served as its political correspondent in New Delhi until 2008. Today, he divides his time between translation work for the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and writing books that challenge mainstream political narratives.
