About the Book

A birthday greeting from an unknown number shakes Raheel’s monotonous life. The message has a PDF of a diary entry written by his late father. After a slew of strange emails, Raheel finds himself embarking on a journey into the unknown. Amidst the beautiful mountains and valleys of Kashmir lurks the vicious web of terrorism, lies, and spies spun by everyone around him. As Raheel sinks deeper into the quicksand of the blood-stained Kashmir, he is handed the task of saving his native town while he unravels the truth about his father's death and his own existence. With lie and deception staring him in the face at every step, will he be able to find the truth unscathed?

About the Author

Bijoy Munshi is a Kashmiri Pandit who yearns for the home that never was. His debut book, The Stranger’s Bedroom, was released in November 2019. Bijoy lives in New Delhi and works with an IT services firm. He is often found observing people and conjuring fictional characters when not reviewing lines of code. Bijoy likes writing poetry on the move which he terms his 'Wandering Randomness.' His writing is galvanised by the starry sky.
