Nyasa is a 12-year old reflective and conscientious girl who loves to read, write, play and swim. Although tender and sensitive, she can be funny and naughty at times. An avid Star Wars fan, she is an environmentalist by heart, and My friend NS230 and Other Stories is her maiden attempt at writing.

Rev. Fr Thomas John

Rev. Fr Thomas John is a Parish Priest in the Diocese of Paisley, Scotland. Born in Kerala, he studied Philosophy from Good Shepherd Seminary, Dimapur, Nagaland and later Theology from Oriens Theological College, Shillong, Meghalaya. He joined the Diocese of Kohima and served as Parish Priest and Associate Professor until 2016. His subject of research for his Doctorate was Impact of the Catholic Church on Naga Society.

Gautam R. Desiraju

Gautam Radhakrishna Desiraju was born on 21 August 1952, in Chennai and is presently an honorary professor at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He is a recipient of several prestigious international awards such as the Alexander von Humboldt Forschungspreis, the TWAS Award in Chemistry and the ISI Medal for Science of the University of Bologna. He was President of the International Union of Crystallography between 2011–2014. As IUCr President, he proposed to the United Nations that 2014 be celebrated as the International Year of Crystallography. He spearheaded this resolution and inaugurated the Year in UNESCO, Paris in January 2014 sharing the podium with Irena Bokova, the then Director General of UNESCO.

Dr Amar Patnaik

A former career bureaucrat, Dr Amar Patnaik is currently a Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha from Odisha representing the Biju Janata Dal. He is the recipient of the Sansad Ratna Award 2022. A PhD in institutional economics, he is a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance, Consultative Committee on Forest, Environment and Climate Change, and Joint Committee on Biological Diversity. He is also a member of the Public Accounts Committee and the Committee on Public Undertakings. He regularly writes on issues relating to economics, finance, technology, data privacy, and the environment.
